2nd - 5th grade - Navy shorts, white t-shirt with Navy Trim and CHBS Logo, athletic shoes with a white sole and white socks. The shorts and shirt may be purchased at Zoghby's. Winter PE uniform includes solid navy sweat pants and PE t-shirt.

Note: K5 and 1st grade do not dress out for P. E.; they will only need athletic shoes with white soles.

Dress Code Standards

1. Students should arrive at school meeting all dress code standards.
2. All jewelry (male & female) must be tasteful and small. No symbols may be worn that are contrary to the teachings of Christ. Teachers may ask students to remove jewelry at any time they consider it distracting. Girls may wear earrings that are tasteful and complimentary to the uniform. No other body piercing or body art allowed.
3. Male’s hair must not touch the collar in back or touch the eyebrows or ears. No facial hair allowed. Males must be clean shaven daily. Sideburns must be above ear lobe. Hair should not be bushy or unkept. We desire a neat appearance in all ways.
4. Student’s hair may not be of unusual color or non-traditional color. Spiked or other non-traditional styles are inappropriate. Caps are not part of the approved uniform.
5. White undershirts only. No long sleeve or t-shirt with writing worn underneath uniform shirt.
6. Outerwear cannot be tied around the waist.
7. Shirttail must be tucked in so that the belt is visible. Shirttail must remain tucked in at all times on campus. (This includes before and after school.)
8. P.E. or athletic wear may not be worn as a regular school uniform.
9. Oxford shirts must have all buttons buttoned except at the throat. This includes collar, shirt front, and sleeves.
10. Shoes must be worn completely on feet-heels must be inside shoes.
11. Students are not allowed to write on shoes or clothing. Clothing must be kept clean and stain free.
12. Students must arrive at school on Chapel days dressed for chapel. Boys must wear tie the entire day.
13. Forgetting or losing part of the uniform (i.e., shoes, belt, and blazer) is not excused-it is a violation of policy. A parent note cannot excuse this infraction.
14. Short sleeved shirts may not be rolled at the sleeve.
15. Undergarments worn under white shirts should be beige or white. No colors allowed!!
16. Violators of the dress code will receive a pink slip. Three pink slips equal a Friday detention. Continuous violation of policy may result in suspension.
17. While the school cannot write policies for every detail / situation. We reserve the right to correct any behavior or appearance that is disruptive or distracting to our instructional program.
18. Students will not be allowed to participate in Physical Conditioning if they are not wearing the school sanctioned uniform.
