My book is about an orphan girl named Katie and her mustang and their journey to Oregon. She goes there to meet her Uncle Andrew. While traveling, she joins a Conestoga wagon train. They have lots of different experiences, including seeing rattle snakes, freaky make-shift canoe ferries, hunger, and other things. When they reach Oregon, they find out that her uncle had left two years ago. Will she and her wild horse ever have a home? Read to find out.

I would definitely recommend this book for horse enthusiasts and history buffs alike.
