SLI Informtion

Student Leadership Institute Applications and Recommendation forms are now available in the Academy office.

The Cottage Hill Student Leadership Institute is a year long, voluntary program available to students in grades 9-12. The purpose of the Institute is to introduce students to Biblical principles of leadership, assist in developing leadership skills, and provide opportunities to apply the principles and skills learned.

…so David shepherded them according to the integrity of his heart, and guided them by the skillfulness of his hands. Psalm 78:72

Institute Format

The Cottage Hill Student Leadership Institute curriculum is taught in leadership modules of 1-3 sessions each. Cottage Hill Christian Academy faculty, staff, church staff and community leaders will facilitate the training. The Leadership Institute will meet once a week, during the students' activity period.

Institute Transcripts

The Institute Transcript is the official document used to track our students through the Institute and to hold our students accountable for making progress during the school year.

A Cottage Hill Student Leadership Institute transcript will be kept in the Institute Director’s Office for every student in the Institute. Every time an Institute student completes a module, does a service project, attends a leadership camp or seminar, he/she must complete the proper documentation and turn it in to the Institute Director’s Office. It is the responsibility of the student to turn in all required paperwork and make sure the information is accurately recorded on their transcript.
